Physical & Chemical Properties
Physical and chemical properties: colorless crystalline powder with a melting point of 144.6°C; vapor pressure of <0.01mPa(25°C); density of 1.47 (20°C); solubility (25°C) of 120 (pH5.0), 4,000mg/L (pH6.7) and 1,900mg/L (pH8.1) in water, 3,6000mg/L in acetone, 1,900mg/L in ethanol, 540mg/L in toluene, 260mg/L in n-octanol and less than 1mg/L in n-hexane; obviously hydrolyzed when pH value is 3~5 and not obvious when pH value is 7~9; decomposes when the temperature is above the melting point. 

Application
Uses: a sulfanylurea herbicide, inhibits the synthesis of branched chain amino acids and cell division; 5~10 days after it application in a paddy, the poisonous weeds among the annual broadleaf and cyperaceae weeds will be yellowed, wither, and even die; extremely easy for paddies to degrade it, so it is safe for use.
