Applications

Application Guidelines:

• Optimal Timing: Apply 5-7 days after rice transplanting (when seedlings are established) and weeds are at the 2-4 leaf stage. Do not submerge rice growing points to avoid phytotoxicity.

• Maximum 1 application per crop season.

Product Performance:

• This product is an aminosulfonylurea herbicide (distinct from sulfonylureas). It inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), halting weed cell division and leading to systemic death.

• Controls annual/perennial broadleaf weeds, sedges, and young barnyardgrass in rice fields.

Precautions:

1. Most effective on young weeds; apply during early rice growth stages.

2. Temporary growth suppression or chlorosis may occur but typically recovers within 2 weeks (enhanced by fertilization).

3. 
   Application method:

   • Cut open the package and disperse the product in water, then mix with dry soil/sand for broadcasting or dilute for spraying.

   • Burn or bury empty packaging. Avoid contaminating water bodies with residues or rinsate.

4. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and masks. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands/face afterward.

5. Avoid use during prolonged extreme heat.

6. Dispose of containers properly. Do not repurpose.

7. Pregnant or breastfeeding women must avoid exposure.

8. Prohibited near groundwater/drinking water sources.

First Aid:

• Ingestion: Induce vomiting and seek medical attention with the label. No antidote-symptomatic treatment only.

• Skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

• Eye contact: Flush with clean water for ≥15 minutes.

Storage & Transport:

• Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place, away from fire/heat. Keep locked and out of reach of children.

• Do not transport or store with food, feed, or seeds.
