Applications
Aminopyralid is a synthetic hormone herbicide. It can be quickly absorbed by plant stems, leaves and roots. In sensitive plants, it induces a partial reaction, which leads to plant growth stagnation and rapid necrosis.
Description: A pyridine carboxylic acid herbicide for the long-term control of noxious and invasive broad-leaved weeds in grassland
Example pests controlled: Broomweed; Buttercups; Cocklebur; Daisy; Fleabane; Knapweed; Ragweed; Ragwort; Lambsquarter
Example applications: Rangeland; Permanent grass; Non-cropped areas including paths; roadways
Clopyralid, a post-emergence control of many annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds of the families Polygonaceae, Compositae, Leguminosae, and Umbelliferae, in sugar beet, fodder beet, oilseed rape, maize, brassicas, onions, leeks, strawberries, flax and grassland. Provides particularly good control of creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense), perennial sow-thistle, coltsfoot, mayweeds, and Polygonum spp.
Picloram and other salt can be instantly absorbed and transmitted through leaves and root. A majority of broad-leaved crops except crucifer, are allergic to this medicine and many crops which falls into category of the grass family are drug resistant.
