Mechanism of action: Quinotrione is a p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxidase (HPPD) inhibitor (triketone). By inhibiting the activity of key photosynthetic pigmentation enzymes in plants, it prevents the conversion of its substrate into urinalic acid, which leads to the failure of normal synthesis of tocopherol and plastiquinone, affects the carotenoid synthesis in the target body, leads to yellow and white leaves, affects the normal photosynthesis in the plant body, and finally completely dies. After application, it can be absorbed by plant stems and leaves, and the effect is effective 3 to 4 days after application, and the weed stems and leaves die after bleaching. Quinotrione can be decomposed in sorghum and has a high safety for sorghum.
