Applications

Dimethenamid P is used to control grass weeds and some broad-leaved weeds in corn fields, such as Matang, Barnyard grass, Abutilon, amaranth, oil sedge, clover, quinoa, purslane, setaria and nightshade.
Dimethenamid-P has low foliate spray activity and can be metabolized by glutathione S-transferase contained in corn and other crops, showing good safety and selectivity for crops. It is mainly absorbed by the underground part of the plant, absorbed by the cotyl and bud before emergence, absorbed by the root after emergence, and the conduction speed is slow after entering the plant body. Therefore, the agent can increase the absorption efficiency in wet soil, showing better quick effect and control effect. Even in arid soils, Dimethenamid P showed a season-long control effect. It can be applied before sowing, before seedling or early after seedling by soil treatment, root irrigation or spray, and the dosage of effective ingredients is 700-1000 g/hm2 (46.7-66.7g /667m2).
