Application Guidelines:
Adjust water volume (30-60 kg/mu) based on soil moisture. Ensure uniform spraying.
Under dry conditions, shallowly incorporate the herbicide (2-3 cm) after application to enhance efficacy.
For mulched crops: Apply after sowing and then cover with film, or apply before film coverage and transplant through holes. Calculate dosage based on actual treated area.
Use higher rates for clay soils and lower rates for sandy soils.
Risk of leaching injury in low-lying or sandy soils during rainfall. Use with caution.
Do not use in watermelon fields or small tunnels under rice-upland crop rotation systems.
Maximum 1 application per crop season.
Product Performance:
S-metolachlor acts through absorption by weed coleoptiles and shoots. Applied as a pre-emergence soil treatment (post-sowing/pre-emergence or pre-transplanting), it controls annual grasses (e.g., barnyardgrass, crabgrass, goosegrass) and some broadleaves (e.g., pigweed, purslane, smartweed).
Precautions:
Mixing procedure: Fill half the spray tank with water, add the product, then top up with water and mix thoroughly.
Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks during application. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking. Wash exposed skin afterward.
Triple-rinse empty containers before disposal. Do not reuse. Clean equipment promptly.
Restrict livestock access to treated areas.
Toxic to fish, algae, and Daphnia. Prevent water contamination. Avoid application near aquacultural zones or water bodies. Prohibited in Trichogramma release areas.
Store unused product in its original sealed container. Never use food/drink containers. Follow local agricultural guidance.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women must avoid contact.
Dispose of containers properly. Do not repurpose.
First Aid:
