Uses: Carbaryl is a contact insecticide with a long lasting effect. It is used as a spraying powder (50% and 12.5% Tetradifon; 37.5 % and 11.2 % Dioxathion) in winegrowing e. G. Against mites and in combination with lindane against potato-bugs.

Applications

Technical Requirements for Use:

1. Apply an appropriate amount during the peak period of pest infestation and reproduction, based on pest density. The safety interval for use is 7 days, with a maximum of 1 application per cycle.

2. Snails often inhabit dark and damp areas, while golden apple snails are commonly found in southern water networks and are active at night. For optimal effectiveness, apply during sunset to darkness or after rain when snails and golden apple snails are active and their heads are exposed. The ideal temperature for application is between 15-35°C. Below 15°C or above 35°C, snail activity decreases, which may affect efficacy.

Product Performance:
This product is an effective pesticide against mollusk pests such as snails. It functions as both an attractant and contact poison. After ingestion or contact, the pests release large amounts of acetylcholine esterase, leading to excessive mucus secretion, nerve paralysis, and death by dehydration. This product requires a small dosage, is easy and convenient to use, and rapidly kills snail pests. When used as directed, it does not affect normal crop growth.

Precautions:

1. Use the entire contents of the package after opening.

2. Wear protective gear, including gloves, masks, and goggles, when opening the package or applying the product.

3. Wash hands and exposed skin with soap and water immediately after use.

4. Use with caution in rice fields with fish.

First Aid Measures for Poisoning:

• Eye or skin contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

• Ingestion: If ingested, it may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea. Drink 3-4 cups of cold water to dilute the product and seek medical attention immediately, bringing the packaging. There is no specific antidote. If poisoning occurs, perform gastric lavage and induce bowel movements if the patient is conscious. Use anticonvulsant medications, administer glucose solutions, and protect the liver to aid detoxification and excretion. In cases of kidney failure, monitor fluid balance and electrolytes to prevent fluid overload.

Storage and Transportation:
Store this product securely, away from children and unauthorized personnel. Keep separate from food, beverages, grains, and feed. Do not store or transport with these items. Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated place. Avoid exposure to light, fire, high temperatures, and acidic conditions during storage and transportation, as these may reduce efficacy.
