Applications

Quintrione is a novel herbicide for paddy fields with both soil and stem and leaf treatment activities. It has a good control effect on weeds such as Barnyard grass, Matang, lilac Polygonum and ophiocephalus, and it has a prominent control effect on barnyard grass that is resistant to pentafluorosulfonachlor. It has the characteristics of rapid action, wide weed killing spectrum and high safety. The mechanism of its action is to inhibit the activity of p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxidase (HPPD); The second is to regulate hormone levels, including reducing auxin content and inducing abscisic acid accumulation. The drug was absorbed by the stems, leaves and roots of weeds, mainly by stems and leaves. Yellow symptoms appeared in the meristem within 3 to 5 days after application, and then caused dead spots. After 1 to 2 weeks, the weeds became white and gradually died.
