Applications

Penflufen is mainly used as a fungicide seed treatment. It penetrates into germinating seeds and transmits through the xylem of young plants to the entire plant, thus providing high-level protection for growing seedlings. It can be used for a variety of crops, including potatoes, corn, rice, cotton, wheat, barley, alfalfa, vegetables, legumes, and oilseed rape, to control soil-borne or seed-borne diseases caused by ascomycetes and basidiomycetes, such as potato scab, wheat sheath blight, rice sheath blight, wheat smut, wheat scab, and corn small spot.
