Fluazinam is a protective fungicide with little curative or systemic activity, but good residual effect and rain fastness. It is used for control of grey mould and downy mildew on vines; apple scab; southern blight and white mould on peanuts;tuber blight on potatoes; clubroot on crucifers; rhizomania on sugar beet and white and violet root rot on fruit trees.
Etoxazole is non-systemic acaricide with effect on eggs, larvae and nymphs, with no effect on adults. Controls many phytophagous mites (Tetranychus, Panonychus spp.) in citrus, pome fruit, vegetables and strawberries, at 50 g/ha, and in tea, at 100 g/ha.
