Applications

Chlorantraniliprole is an insecticide, which can effectively and selectively activate the ryanodine receptor. The EC50 values of ryanodine receptor for Drosophila melanogaster and Spodoptera assulta are 40 nM and 50 nM respectively, and the selectivity for it is the ryanodine receptor (EC50, 14 μ M) More than 300 times.
 
Methoxyfenozide, a diacylhydrazine insecticide, selectively binds to lepidopteran ecdysone receptors (EcRs) over dipteran EcRs with Kd values of 0.5 and 124 nM, respectively. Methoxyfenozide is lethal to neonatal larvae of S. exigua, S. frugiperda, T. ni, O. nubilalis, L. pomonella, H. zea, and H. virescens (LC50s=0.35, 0.2, 0.11, 0.18, 0.21, 0.79, and 3.12 mg/L, respectively).
 

Technical Instructions for Use:

1. Spray during the peak egg hatching period to the early larval stage of rice stem borers, using 40-50 kg of water per mu.

2. Do not apply on windy days or if rain is expected within 1 hour.

3. The safety interval for use on rice is 45 days, with a maximum of one application per growing season.

 

Product Performance:

This product is a combination of a novel systemic diamide insecticide and a specific benzoylhydrazine insecticide. It has stomach poison, contact, and systemic actions, providing long-lasting control against young larvae and effectively managing lepidopteran pests such as rice stem borers.

 

Precautions:

1. This product may cause mild eye irritation. Wear long-sleeved clothing, boots, gloves, goggles, and masks during application to avoid inhaling the spray. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands, face, and clothing thoroughly after use. Rotate with insecticides of different modes of action to delay resistance development.

2. Do not mix with strongly alkaline pesticides or similar substances.

3. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact with this product.

4. Pesticide packaging waste must not be discarded or handled arbitrarily; it should be returned to the pesticide dealer or a designated pesticide waste collection station. Do not clean application equipment in water bodies such as rivers or ponds, and do not dispose of leftover spray liquid indiscriminately. The product is prohibited in and around aquaculture areas, water bodies, and rice fields with fish, shrimp, or crab co-cultivation. Do not drain treated field water directly into water bodies. Avoid use near silkworm rooms and mulberry fields.

 

First Aid Measures:

1. Symptoms of poisoning: Headache, vomiting, nausea, rapid breathing, convulsions, coma, and in severe cases, liver and kidney damage.

2. Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. If wearing contact lenses, rinse for 1-2 minutes before removing them and continue rinsing for several more minutes. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

3. Inhalation: Move the patient to fresh air.

4. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing thoroughly before reuse.

5. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately for symptomatic treatment. There is no specific antidote.

 

Storage and Transportation:

1. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated, and rain-proof place. Do not invert the container. Keep away from fire and heat sources.

2. Keep out of reach of children, unauthorized personnel, and animals, and store under lock.

3. Do not store or transport with food, beverages, grains, seeds, or feed.

4. During transportation, protect from sunlight and rain. Handlers should wear protective gear and handle containers gently to prevent leakage, collapse, falling, or damage.
