Uses: Mainly used to control broad-leaved weeds such as calamus and chrysanthemum, as well as some gramineous weeds such as wind grass, wild oats and bluegrass.
Mode of Action:Like other sulfonylurea herbicides, it is an inhibitor of acetyllactate synthetase (ALS). By inhibiting the biosynthesis of important amino acids valine and isoleucine, it destroys cell division and hinders plant growth.
