Uses: Flonicamid is a novel insecticide discovered by ISK has been developing Flonicamid on a global basis since in the late 1990's and it is guite revent that Flonicamid has been launched into the market in several countries.
Flonicamid exhibits excellent performance for xontrol of almost all important aphid species in apples, peaches, wheat, potato vegetables, etc.
Flonicamid has no negative impact on beneficial insects or natural enemies, and thus, Flonicamid will provide a new option to integrated pest management programs.
Flonicamid has also good toxicological, environmental and ecotoxicological profiles.
Mode of action
Flonicamid rapidly inhibits the feeding behavior of aphids.
Flonicamid has systemic and translaminar activity and gives long-term control.
Its mode of action is different from that of neonicotinoids.
