Thifensulfuron-methyl is a systemic sulfonylurea herbicide that acts as a branched-chain amino acid synthesis inhibitor. Broadleaf weeds rapidly absorb and translocate the compound to their meristematic tissues, where it inhibits the biosynthesis of valine and isoleucine, thereby blocking cell growth and ultimately eradicating the weeds. It is specifically used to control annual broadleaf weeds in winter wheat fields.
Tribenuron-methyl is a kind of selective, systemic and transferring post-emergence herbicide. It can be absorbed and transferred by the stems and leaves of weeds to prevent from the division of cell and make the weeds die. It can be stable in soil for 30-45days and has no harm to the succeeding crops.
Florasulam can be transmitted to the whole plant of weeds, so it kills the weeds completely and will not recur.
Florasulam belongs to the sulfonamide herbicides, and its mechanism of action is to inhibit the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, thereby inhibiting cell division and leading to the death of sensitive weeds.
