Applications
Clorpyrifos-methyl is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide with contact, stomach and fumigation effects and no systemic action. It is used to control pests in stored grain and pests on various leaf crops. It can also be used to control insect pests such as mosquitoes and flies, and has no persistence in soil. For example, when the medicament is used for the storage of raw grain, it can effectively prevent corn elephants, miscellaneous grain thieves, saw grain thieves, and red grain thieves.
Mode of Action
Non-systemic with contact and stomach action. Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor.
Alpha-cypermerthrin is a non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Acts on the central and peripheral nervous system in very low doses. Control of a wide range of chewing and sucking insects (particularly Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera) in fruit (including citrus), vegetables, vines, cereals, maize, beet, oilseed rape, potatoes, cotton, rice, soya beans, forestry, and other crops. Control of cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, and other insect pests in public health; And flies in animal houses. Also used as an animal ectoparasiticide.
