Applications
Quinclorac:
Absorbed through foliage. Auxin activity. Inhibition of cell wall synthesis. In transplanted, seeded rice for control of Aeschynomene, Echinochloa, Ipomoea, Sesbania, etc. Postemergent in spring wheat for Setaria and in turf for Digitaria sanguinalis, Trifolium, etc. Postemergent chem fallow application for control of Convolvulus arvensis.
Description: A herbicide used for post-emergence weed control on grass and turf.
Example pests controlled: Crabgrass; Barnyard grass; Foxtail; Clover; Morning glory; Wild violet; Speedwell; Daisy; Black medic.
Example applications: Rice; Ornamental grass.
Bensulfuron-methyl is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the foliage and roots, with rapid translocation to the meristematic tissues. Selective pre- and post-emergence control of annual and perennial weeds and sedges (e. G. Butomus umbellatus, Scirpus maritimus, Scirpus mucronatus, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Sparganium erectum, Cyperus spp., Typha spp., etc. ) in continuously flooded rice, at 30-100 g/ha.
