Applications
Pyroxsulam is a sulfonamide herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves, sheathes, stems or roots of weeds and accumulates at growth points, which inhibits acetyllactate synthase and prevents the synthesis of branched amino acids (such as valine, leucine and isoleucine), thereby affecting protein synthesis and ultimately cell division of weeds, causing them to stop growing, turn yellow and die.
Description: A post-emergence herbicide useful for the control of annual grass and broad-leaved weeds in cereals.
Example pests controlled:Cheat grass (Bromus japonicus); Ryegrass (Lolium perenne); Canary grass (Phalaris paradoxa); Wild oats (Avena sterilis)
Example applications:Cereals including wheat, barley, rye, triticale
Flusulam belongs to the sulfonamide herbicides, and its mechanism of action is to inhibit the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, thereby inhibiting cell division and leading to the death of sensitive weeds.
Florasulam can be transmitted to the whole plant of weeds, so it kills the weeds completely and will not recur.
