Applications

Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that prolongs opening of sodium channels resulting in membrane depolarization and conductance block in the insect nervous system. Bifenthrin is effective against A. gambiae and C. quinquefasciatus mosquitos (LD50s = 0.15 and 0.16 ng/mg, respectively) and increases O. insidiosus mortality in treated corn and sorghum plants.

Flonicamid (IKI220) is a novel systemic insecticide with selective activity against hemipterous pests. The main insecticidal mechanism of flonicamid is starvation based on the inhibition of stylet penetration to plant tissues
 

Technical Requirements for Use:

1. This product should be applied before or during the initial peak period of peach aphid infestation on peach trees. Ensure uniform spray coverage during application.

2. Do not apply during windy conditions or if rainfall is expected within 1 hour.

3. The safety interval for use on peach trees is 14 days, with a maximum of 1 application per season.

Product Performance:
Bifenthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach toxicity, offering broad-spectrum and rapid pest control. Flonicamid is a novel low-toxicity pyridinecarboxamide insecticide and insect growth regulator, providing contact and stomach toxicity, as well as neurotoxic and rapid antifeedant effects. This product combines the fast-acting and long-lasting effects of both active ingredients, reducing the required dosage of each individual component and significantly improving control efficacy.

Precautions:

1. Do not mix this product with alkaline pesticides or other substances.

2. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and a mask during application to avoid skin contact and inhalation. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product. Wash hands and face thoroughly after use.

3. This product is toxic to bees, aquatic organisms, and silkworms. Avoid application during flowering periods of nectar/pollen-producing plants, near silkworm rooms, or mulberry fields. Keep away from aquaculture areas, rivers, and ponds to prevent water contamination. Do not clean application equipment in water bodies. Prohibited in areas where natural enemies like Trichogramma are released.

4. Dispose of used containers properly. Do not repurpose or discard them carelessly.

5. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact with this product.

6. Rotate with insecticides having different modes of action to delay resistance development.

First Aid Measures for Poisoning:

1. If discomfort occurs during use, stop work immediately, administer first aid, and seek medical attention with the product label.

2. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and rinse the affected skin with plenty of water and soap, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

3. Eye contact: Rinse eyes with water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.

4. Inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air immediately. If breathing has stopped, perform artificial respiration and seek medical attention.

5. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately, bringing the product label.

Storage and Transportation:
Store in a dry, cool, ventilated, and rainproof place, away from fire or heat sources. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel, and store under lock. Do not store or transport with food, beverages, grains, or feed.
