Mode of action: Pinoxaden belongs to phenylpyrazoline herbicide, and its mechanism of action is acetyl-coA carboxylase (ACC) inhibitor. Caused by fatty acid synthesis, split the cell growth stopped contain fat cell membrane structure was damaged, killing weeds. It is mainly used for controlling annual gramineous weeds in wheat fields.
Uses: Description: A herbicide for post-emergence control of annual grass weeds in some cereal crops
Example pests controlled: Annual grasses including blackgrass, bluegrass, common windgrass, reed canary grass, foxtail, Avena spp.
Example applications: Cereals including winter & spring barley, winter wheat, durum wheat, Rye, Triticale
