Applications

Thiocyclam hydrogenoxalate control of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, some Diptera and Thysanoptera. In potatoes for Colorado potato beetle, in rape for Coleoptera and Lepidoptera pest complexes, in irrigated rice for stem borers and some other pests, in maize for corn borer and Tanymecus, in sugar beet for sugar beet weevil and other Coleoptera, in sugar cane for sugar cane stem borer, in fruit trees for Lepidoptera, in vegetables for leaf miners, and various Lepidoptera and Coleoptera. 
 
Thiamethoxam is a neonicotinoid insecticide, has strong contact killing, stomach toxicity and internal absorption, has high activity to insect pests. It blocks the normal transmission of the insect's central nervous system, causing paralysis and death.
 

Usage Technical Requirements:

1. Apply the pesticide once during the peak occurrence period of melon thrips. The recommended water volume is 50-60 kg per mu (or adjust based on local agricultural practices). Ensure uniform spraying.

2. Do not apply during windy conditions or if rainfall is expected within 1 hour.

3. Maximum of 1 application per season on melon crops. The pre-harvest interval (PHI) is 5 days. Adjust water volume for foliar spray according to local practices.

Product Performance:
This product is a neonicotinoid + nereistoxin analog compound formulation with contact, stomach poison, and systemic activity, as well as ovicidal effects. When used at the registered dosage, it effectively controls melon thrips.

Precautions:

1. Strictly follow the recommended dosage and application method.

2. Rotate with insecticides of different modes of action to delay resistance development.

3. Prohibited use in:

   • Bird conservation areas.

   • During flowering periods of nearby plants (risk to bees-monitor impact on local hives).

   • Near silkworm farms or mulberry fields.

   • Areas releasing natural enemies (e.g., Trichogramma, ladybugs).

   • Near aquaculture zones, ponds, or rivers. Do not drain treated water into aquatic systems. Avoid contamination when cleaning equipment.

4. Thoroughly clean spraying equipment before using other pesticides.

5. Safety measures:

   • May irritate eyes-wear protective clothing (long sleeves, pants, gloves, mask, goggles).

   • No eating, drinking, or smoking during application.

   • Wash skin and clothes with soap after use.

6. Dispose of packaging properly-do not reuse or discard randomly.

7. Pregnant or breastfeeding women must avoid contact.

First Aid:

• If feeling unwell: Stop work immediately, provide first aid, and bring the product label to the hospital.

• Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, wipe off pesticide, and rinse with soap and water.

• Eye exposure: Flush with running water for ≥15 minutes.

• Inhalation: Move to fresh air.

• Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly and seek medical attention with the label.
