Description:
Appearance : pure product is white needle-like crystal, Industrial product is gray or light yellow to brown powder.
Melting Point: 187-188ºC.
Vapour Pressure: 0.027mPa(25ºC).
Solubility: in water at 25,1.6g/l.In acetone 10.4,methanol 25,xylene 2.1(all in g/l,25).
Stability: Stable at 52(highest storage temperature tested).Reatively stable to u.v.light.

Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats: 314, mice 245, dogs >50mg/kg.
Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits>2000mg/kg. Slightly irritating to eyes and non-irritating to skin (rabbits).
Inhalation LC50 (1h) for rats 0.146mg/l air
NOEL (2 y) for rats 9.6mg/kg b. W., for mice 6.7mg/ke b. W. Daily; (1 y) for dogs 5mg/kg b. W.; 3-generation reproduction for rats 3mg/kg.
ADI: 0.03mg/kg.
Applications
Systemic fungicide, absorbed rapidly by the roots, with translocation through the plant. Control of rice blast(Pyricularia oryzae)in transplanted and direct-seeded rice. Can be applied as a flat drench,transplant root soak,or foliar application.One or 2 applications by one or more of these methods give a season-long control of the disease.
