Applications

The main action mechanism of Tolfenpyrad is to prevent the oxidative phosphorylation of insects and to kill eggs, inhibit food, inhibit egg laying and kill bacteria.The pesticide insecticidal spectrum is very wide, a variety of dindinoptera, hemiptera, beetles, hymenoptera, diptera pests and mites has a high control effect, mainly contact, no absorption, dead insect peak in 48 hours after the application.

 

Technical Requirements for Use:

1. Apply once during the peak occurrence period of adult cabbage flea beetles (Phyllotreta striolata) on cabbage. The recommended water volume is 30-50 kilograms per mu. Apply in the morning or evening, ensuring uniform and thorough spray coverage, especially on the undersides of leaves.

2. Do not apply during windy conditions or if rainfall is expected within 1 hour.

3. The pre-harvest interval (PHI) for cabbage is 7 days, with a maximum of 1 application per crop season.

Product Performance:
This product is a mixture of Pyridaben and Tolfenpyrad.

• Pyridaben is a low-toxicity heterocyclic insecticide and acaricide with strong contact activity.

• Tolfenpyrad is a novel pyrazole heterocyclic insecticide and acaricide with ovicidal, antifeedant, and oviposition-inhibiting effects.

• The combination of these two active ingredients is effective against cabbage flea beetles.

Precautions:

1. This product may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and other safety gear during use to avoid skin contact and inhalation. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands and face thoroughly after use.

2. Do not discard or handle pesticide packaging waste arbitrarily. Return it promptly to the pesticide dealer or a pesticide packaging waste recycling station. Do not clean application equipment in water bodies such as rivers or ponds, and do not dispose of leftover chemical solution indiscriminately. Prohibited for use in or near aquaculture areas, water bodies such as rivers and ponds, and bird sanctuaries. Prohibited during the flowering period of crops in treated fields and surrounding plants. Pay close attention to the impact on nearby bee colonies during application. Prohibited for use near silkworm rearing facilities, mulberry fields, and areas where natural enemies such as ladybugs are released.

3. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact with this product.

4. It is recommended to rotate with insecticides of different mechanisms to delay resistance development.

First Aid Measures:
If discomfort occurs during or after use, stop work immediately, administer first aid, and bring the product label to the hospital.

1. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and rinse skin thoroughly with soap and water.

2. Eye contact: Rinse eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if discomfort persists.

3. Inhalation: Move the patient to fresh air immediately.

4. Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting to avoid aspiration of vomit. Bring the product label and seek medical attention for symptomatic treatment. No specific antidote is available.

Storage and Transportation:

1. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated, and rain-proof place. Do not invert. Keep away from fire and heat sources.

2. Store out of reach of children, unauthorized personnel, and animals, and keep under lock.

3. Do not store or transport with food, beverages, grains, seeds, or feed.

4. Protect from sunlight and rain during transportation. Handlers should wear protective gear and handle with care to prevent leaks, tipping, falling, or damage to containers.
