Ametryn is a selective systemic herbicide for pre- and post-emergence control of most annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds. Absorbed by the leaves and roots, with translocation acropetally in the xylem and accumulation in the apical meristems. Photosynthetic electron transport inhibitor at the photosystem II receptor site.
It is a systemic conducive after-bud herbicide. It can control the annual monocotyledon and dicotyledon in cane, pineapple, banana, coffee, cocoa, oil palm and tea tree.
Atrazine is a good herbicide for sweet corn, it can be used in after-bud and PRO-bud. Atrazine is also applied in the controlling of annual and two years broadleaf weeds in kaoliang, cane, forest and meadow.
