DESCRIPTION:
Appearance: White powder.
Melting Point: 298-300.6°C .
Vapour Pressure: 4 x 10-9 mm Hg.
Stability: Solubility in water: 50 mg/l (pH 7.0)
Solubility in solvent acetone, 0.42 g/100 g; ethanol, 0.21 g/100g; benzene, 0.023 g/100 g; chloroform, 0.008 g/100g
Toxicity: Oral LD50 3100 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 >2000 mg/kg.
Applications
USES: Controls green mold, blue mold, and stem end rot of citrus; Fusarium basal rot and Penicillium blue mold on ornamental bulbs and corms; crown rot on bananas; blue mold rot, bull's eye rot and gray mold on apples and pears; black rot, scurf, and foot rot of sweet potatoes; Fusarium dry rot in potato storage; preservative for reconstituted tobacco. Arbotect* controls Dutch elm diseases and sycamore anthracnose.
