Applications

Deltamethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide that kills insects on contact and through digestion. It is used to control apple and pear suckers, plum fruit moth, caterpillars on brassicas, pea moth, aphids (apples, plums, hops), winter moth (apples and plums), codling and tortrix moths (apples). Control of aphids, mealy bugs, scale insects, and whitefly on glasshouse cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, potted plants, and ornamentals. It also controls numerous insect pests of field crops.
 
Thiacloprid, a chloronicotinyl insecticide, is targeted chiefly to control aphid pest species in orchards and vegetables[1]. Thiacloprid destabilizes DNA. Thiacloprid changes the structure and stability of DNA through binding into the minor groove by hydrophobic or hydrogen interactions[2].
 

Technical Requirements for Use:

1. The safety interval for use on tea plants is 7 days, with a maximum of 1 application per season.

2. Apply during the early nymph stage of the tea green leafhopper.

3. Do not apply during windy conditions or if rainfall is expected within 1 hour.

Product Performance:
Thiacloprid acts on the postsynaptic membrane of insect nerves, disrupting normal nervous system transmission, blocking nerve channels, causing abnormal excitement, convulsions, paralysis, and death. Deltamethrin kills pests by modulating sodium ion channels in insects, producing neurotoxicity. This product is effective against tea green leafhoppers on tea plants.

Precautions:

1. To avoid resistance, rotate with fungicides of different mechanisms.

2. This product is sensitive to melon seedlings and young banana plants. High concentrations may cause phytotoxicity. Avoid drift onto melon seedlings and young bananas during application, and strictly follow the recommended dilution ratio. Apply away from aquaculture areas, and do not clean application equipment in rivers or ponds.

3. Do not use during the flowering period of nearby plants. Monitor the impact on nearby bee colonies during application. Avoid use near mulberry fields, silkworm rearing areas, or areas where natural enemies like Trichogramma are released.

4. Do not mix with alkaline pesticides or other substances.

5. Wear protective clothing and gloves during use to avoid direct skin contact or inhalation of the liquid. Do not eat or drink during application. Wash hands and face promptly after application.

6. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact.

7. Do not allow the liquid or waste to contaminate water bodies, soil, or other environments.

8. Dispose of used containers and packaging properly. Do not repurpose or discard them arbitrarily.

First Aid Measures for Poisoning:
This product is slightly irritating to the eyes. If inhaled, move the patient to a well-ventilated area. In case of skin contact or eye exposure, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. There is no specific antidote. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately with the product label for symptomatic treatment.

Storage and Transportation Methods:
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from fire sources. Do not store or transport with food, beverages, grains, or feed. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel, and store under lock to prevent accidental ingestion. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. During loading and unloading, check that the packaging is intact and sealed, and handle with care.
